Complaints Office

To fulfill the tasks of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz), the federal states are currently establishing a joint body.

The Market Surveillance Authority of the Federal States for the Accessibility of Products and Services (MLBF) is planned to commence operations as a new public-law institution on June 28, 2025, in Magdeburg, the capital of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
This is contingent upon the ratification of the interstate agreement for implementing the tasks under the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) by all federal states. All states are currently working to establish the necessary conditions for this.
